Cancer is a leading public health challenge and a disease that is likely to affect one in two of us in our lifetime. However, over 40% of cancers are thought to be preventable. This section includes information and resources about cancer diagnoses, prevalence, screening and mortality rates.

    The rapid cancer registration dataset is aimed at supporting near-real time analysis of cancer data relating to cancer incidence and treatment idea, introduced to assist the public health response to COVID-19 by NHS Digital, trust and cancer alliances in planning and providing cancer services and other agencies. Data is released in a dashboard monthly.
